Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains when refunds or credits are available for byori.us services. By submitting a deposit, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.
1. Deposits Are Non-Refundable
This deposit covers project intake, planning, design preparation, and opportunity cost — we begin allocating time immediately upon receipt.
This applies regardless of whether you change your mind, become unavailable, or fail to provide required content.
2. Logo Add-On
The $49 logo creation fee is non-refundable once the design process begins — which is immediately upon payment.
- Once 3 concepts have been delivered, no refund is available under any circumstances.
- If you want additional concept sets, a new order at the current price is required.
- If byori.us is unable to deliver concepts (a rare occurrence), you will receive a full credit.
3. AI Chat Add-On
- Annual plans: Non-refundable after widget activation. Remains active until end of paid period. No prorated refunds.
- Month-to-month: Cancel anytime. Cancellation takes effect at end of current billing period. No partial-month refunds.
4. If byori.us Fails to Deliver
If byori.us fails to deliver your completed website within the agreed timeline through no fault of your own:
- You are entitled to a credit equal to the amount paid to date (excluding the non-refundable deposit).
- Credits are valid for 12 months from the date of issuance.
- Credits are not transferable and have no cash value.
- Cash refunds are not issued for delivery delays.
Agreed timelines begin from the date all required content assets are received from you, not the date of deposit.
5. What Does NOT Qualify for a Refund or Credit
- You failed to provide required assets within 30 days of deposit
- You changed your mind about the project after work began
- You are unhappy with a design direction that you approved during onboarding
- You chose not to launch the site
- Third-party platform changes or outages (booking software, registrar, email, etc.)
- AI assistant responses you consider inaccurate or unsatisfactory
6. Dispute Resolution
- Step 1: Contact info@byori.us. We respond within 3 business days and will work in good faith toward a fair resolution.
- Step 2: If unresolved after 30 days, the dispute is submitted to binding arbitration in Maricopa County, Arizona, under mutually agreed rules.
By using our services, you waive the right to participate in a class action lawsuit against byori.us.
