This Privacy Policy describes how byori.us collects, uses, and protects information provided by clients when using our services.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide through the onboarding process:
- Identity: Your name and business name
- Business information: Services offered, pricing, policies, booking platform and link, social media handles
- Media assets: Photos, logos, and visual materials you provide
- Contact information: Email address, phone (if provided)
- Style preferences: Color preferences, inspiration references, vibe descriptions, design inputs
We do not collect payment card information directly — payments are processed through our payment processor, which has its own privacy policy.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used solely to deliver your requested services:
- To design and build your website
- To configure your AI chat assistant (if applicable)
- To communicate about your project
- To send invoices and process payments
- To troubleshoot technical issues
We do not sell, rent, share, or disclose your personal information to any third parties for marketing or commercial purposes.
3. Data Retention
- Project working files are retained for up to 90 days post-launch to support revisions and follow-up questions.
- Photos and media you provided are deleted from our working systems after project delivery unless you request in writing that we retain them for future updates.
- Contact and business information may be retained in project records for administrative purposes.
You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us.
4. Infrastructure & Hosting
Your website is hosted on Cloudflare's infrastructure. Cloudflare may process certain technical data (IP addresses, request logs) in the normal course of serving web traffic, governed by their own privacy policy. See cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
byori.us does not access raw visitor traffic data from your hosted site unless you specifically request analytics setup.
5. AI Chat Add-On Data
If you have an AI chat add-on activated:
- Visitor conversations are processed through Anthropic's API in real time.
- byori.us does not store or log individual visitor conversations.
- Conversation data is subject to Anthropic's privacy policy and data handling practices.
- The AI is trained on your business information (services, policies, FAQs). This data is not used to train Anthropic's general models.

6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
- Delete your personal information, subject to legal retention obligations
- Export your project files in a standard format

7. Children's Privacy
byori.us services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
8. Changes to This Policy
We'll notify active clients of material changes via email. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
